Downtown Fort Myers will be served by two new trolley routes during the winter months, allowing visitors to enjoy the restaurants, shops, art galleries and theaters without worrying about parking.
The Blue Route will circulate through the city center, completing a loop every 15 minutes. The Gold Route will connect the luxury highrises, from the Oasis to High Point Place, with the River District, traveling to within easy walking distance of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates.

Both routes will run Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Service will end on April 17 and resume in November 2013.
The new trolley service is made possible by a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation and by the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency.
